About The Position

The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join its growing specialty care team in New Haven, Connecticut. This full-time, permanent position offers an outpatient-focused practice with a strong referral network generated by an established primary care base. The endocrinologist will diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders while collaborating closely with primary care physicians, specialists, diabetes educators, dietitians, and nursing staff. Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
  • Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
  • Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure
  • Active or eligible DEA registration
  • Strong clinical, communication, and collaborative skills

  • Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, pituitary disorders, and hormonal imbalances
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive long-term disease management
  • Deliver high-quality outpatient endocrine care utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialty providers to coordinate patient care
  • Partner with diabetes educators, dietitians, and clinical staff to support patient education and disease management initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Participate in clinical meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement activities
  • Stay current with advancements in endocrinology and emerging treatment protocols
