About The Position

Cottage Hospital is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Endocrinologist to join our growing specialty services team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide highly specialized care while making a meaningful impact in a rural healthcare community. The Endocrinologist will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders while collaborating closely with primary care providers, specialists, dietitians, diabetes educators, and other members of the healthcare team. The role includes both outpatient and inpatient endocrine services as appropriate, with a focus on evidence-based care, chronic disease management, patient education, and long-term health outcomes. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies, managing complex endocrine conditions, and educating patients regarding medications, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications. The Endocrinologist will play a key role in helping patients achieve optimal health through comprehensive, patient-centered care. Common conditions treated include diabetes mellitus, Addison’s disease, Cushing’s disease, Graves’ disease, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, metabolic bone disorders, menopause-related endocrine conditions, and endocrine gland cancers. Requirements

  • Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
  • Medical license in the state of practice.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
