Endocrinologist in Peoria, Illinois
About The Position
Dynamic Endocrinology practice expanding and seeking an additional BC/BE physician to join the practice. Join two Endocrinologists, five advanced practice providers, four diabetic educators, a device technician, and dedicated support staff who work collaboratively to provide expert-level care in diabetes and general endocrine medicine. This is an outpatient practice with minimal 1:7 call. General clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with flexibility. The practice is located in a beautiful new office, featuring an onsite lab and pharmacy, located near OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, OSF Innovation Jump Simulation & Education Center, the new OSF Cancer Center, and downtown Peoria. The role includes leading learning experiences for residents through an academic appointment as core faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria. H1B visa applications are accepted.
Requirements
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
