Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, a well-established and respected private practice in Peoria, Illinois, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oral Surgeon to join our dynamic team. Our practice is known for providing exceptional care to patients of all ages, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to continue our legacy of excellence in oral surgery. As an Oral Surgeon at Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons you will be responsible for performing a variety of surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, and the treatment of oral pathology. You will work alongside a supportive and friendly team of dental professionals who prioritize patient care and collaboration.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
Completed an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform oral and maxillofacial surgeries such as extractions, dental implants, bone grafts, and corrective jaw surgeries.
Diagnose and treat conditions related to the mouth, jaw, and face.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and consultations to patients.
Work closely with our team of dental specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment.
Foster positive patient relationships through clear communication and exceptional care.
