About The Position

COPC is seeking a knowledgeable and licensed Endocrinologist to join COPC Endocrinology Specialists in Westerville, Ohio. This thriving practice is part of the largest physician-owned Primary Care Group in the US and currently has 3 physicians and 2 APPs. The role involves providing care to patients with hormone disorders and other endocrine system-related issues. The practice is conveniently located approximately 16 miles from downtown Columbus, offering a blend of small-city feel with access to big-city amenities, including strong higher education, a vibrant arts community, numerous parks, entertainment venues, sports teams, shopping, and a diverse culinary scene. The business sector is also growing with major companies establishing a presence in the area.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO)
  • Completion of a three-year Internal Medicine residency
  • Fellowship completion
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
  • Thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions
  • Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses
  • Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and research skills
  • Proficiency with computers and medical equipment

  • Ability to speak more than one language

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and treating hormone disorders and other problems relating to the endocrine system.
  • Evaluating patient symptoms and medical histories to diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans.
  • Supporting patients with physical limitations due to conditions.
  • Analyzing, examining, and investigating patients and their medical histories for signs and symptoms of hormonal imbalances.
  • Ordering and performing tests and interpreting the results.
  • Discussing diagnoses with patients, explaining treatment options, and providing advice on medications, lifestyle, dietary changes, and other preventative measures.
  • Conducting follow-up appointments, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and medications, and updating patient records.
  • Conducting research and studies on the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment techniques.
  • Staying up-to-date on current discoveries, developments, trends, research, and technology in the field.
  • Performing thyroid ultrasound/thyroid nodule biopsies.
