About The Position

Borinquen Medical Centers Inc. is seeking an Endocrinologist in Miami, Florida. Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, this physician specializes in the endocrine system and the diseases, disorders, and conditions that affect or stem from endocrine glands. The role includes evaluating and treating patients, providing follow-up care, supporting patients with complex conditions, conducting research, and keeping current with developments in the field.

Requirements

Medical degree in Endocrinology and successful completion of a residency and fellowship.
Medical license and certification to practice Endocrinology.
Thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions.
Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses.
Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and research skills.
Proficiency with computers and medical equipment.

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak multiple languages.

Responsibilities

Analyze, examine, and investigate patients and their medical histories for signs and symptoms of hormonal imbalances.
Advise on, order, and perform tests, and interpret the results.
Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and provide advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and preventive measures.
Conduct follow-up appointments, monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, and update patient records.
Support patients with serious or complex endocrine conditions and their loved ones.
Conduct research and studies on the endocrine system and related diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment techniques.
Remain up to date on discoveries, developments, trends, research, and technology.
Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
