About The Position

Service New Brunswick is seeking an Endpoint Device Analyst to support the Clinical Information Solution (CIS) transformation across New Brunswick. The role will support the selection, standardization, configuration, deployment, testing, documentation, and lifecycle management of endpoint and print devices used by clinical and administrative staff in healthcare facilities across the province. This position will work closely with CIS, operational, clinical, and technical teams to gather and validate requirements, support endpoint and print deployment planning, contribute to testing and user acceptance activities, and help ensure endpoint solutions are aligned with clinical workflows, security standards, and operational needs.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Written and spoken competence in French and English is required.
  • Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
  • Overnight travel throughout the province and on-site work will be required as needed.
  • Some weekday evening and weekend work hours may be required.
  • Candidates must be available during working hours, Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. AST.
  • Candidates must possess a valid provincial driver’s license.
  • Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Windows and thin client endpoints, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated experience working with endpoint management tools such as SCCM, Intune, or equivalent technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience working with itrix, Horizon, AVD. Windows OS, IGEL OS, and related technologies.
  • Experience supporting and deployling endpoint and print solutions in healthcare environments, including familiarity with clinical workflows, healthcare policies, and operational practices.
  • Technical documentation development, including SOPs, requirements documentation, test plans, test cases, and support documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory and lifecycle tracking of endpoint and print devices across the province, including on-site inventory counting and processing.
  • Collaborate with CIS teams to support the selection, standardization, and deployment of endpoint and print devices across New Brunswick healthcare facilities.
  • Work with CIS, operational, and clinical teams during site visits to gather, document, and validate technical and clinical requirements for endpoint and print solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of testing strategies, including disaster recovery and clinical user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Support vendor evaluations, requirements gathering, project lifecycle activities, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform testing, validation, and quality assurance of endpoint and print device configurations and deployments.
  • Manage endpoint and print hardware lifecycle activities, including procurement, imaging, deployment, asset tracking, and secure decommissioning.
  • Support continuous improvement of the end user experience through performance monitoring, feedback collection, and endpoint optimization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), configuration standards, and support processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced endpoint-related issues, escalating where appropriate.
  • Monitor and report on endpoint and print health, performance, and compliance metrics.
  • Support endpoint management platforms such as SCCM/Intune, including configuration, policy management, and deployment automation.
  • Support physical and virtual endpoint platforms, including Windows OS, IGEL OS, Citrix, and related technologies.
