About The Position

Focused on delivering exceptional customer support for end-user devices and related systems. This role involves assisting users with troubleshooting, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of end-user hardware and software. The End-User Computing Specialist ensures prompt resolution of technical issues, develops effective solutions to enhance user experience, and monitors support activities to maintain system reliability. Strong emphasis is placed on providing responsive and efficient technical assistance to meet the daily computing needs of users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday from Morris Plains, NJ facility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience being the point of contact for vendor, user, billing, process and technical issues/escalations
  • Strong communication and social skills when working with vendors, partners, internal staff and reporting status updates to leadership
  • Must possess a level of field related knowledge normally acquired by working with or close to a carrier or in the telecommunications industry
  • Ability to understand end user issues
  • Technical hands-on experience
  • Able to work independently and excel in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities

  • Handle the intake, assignment, progression, and closure of IT support tickets across various queues.
  • Consistently meet response and resolution targets for all supported services.
  • Execute assigned work items and operational duties beyond standard ticketed requests.
  • Responsible for the configuration, provisioning, and deployment of end-user devices.
  • Manage the physical and logical handling of devices throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • Accurately maintain device, user, and lifecycle data within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Facilitate the replacement and safe disposal of legacy or end-of-life hardware.
  • Ensure secure and complete removal of access and the proper recovery of assets for departing employees.
  • Actively participate in approved End-User Services (EUS) and broader enterprise projects.
  • Support and drive EUS-led improvements, programs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Commit to the ongoing development of technical, process, and role-based skills to stay current with technology trends.
