Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech Responsible for end-to-end supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators and cost-to-serve performance data and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. Research operational costs, industry and regulatory issues to draw for solutions development. Collects and analyzes data systems, procedural activities and information flows and assesses the efficiency and costs of logistics processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is required.
A Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science field is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of related work experience is required.
Hands on working experience with inventory / planning / order management / MRP systems / financials is preferred.
Understanding of End-to-End supply chain interactions and interdependencies.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and reasoning skills / Master complexity / Organizational skills.
Skills in planning processes and inventory management, proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills (verbal, reading, and written) both English and Spanish.
Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would enhance speed of results and productivity or quality &/or Ability to work with Continuous Improvement tools.
Has knowledge of statistics, machine learning, data mining and predictive analytics.
Proficient in MS office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Planning, E-mail, Flow Charts and management of database tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience in supply chain experience in the medical device, consumer or pharmaceutical is preferred.
Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP/JDE) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) is preferred.
Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications preferred.
Process Excellence & CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management / IBF) Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Contributes to supply chain optimization processes, supply chain synchronization processes, and recovery planning efforts.
Assists with the assessment of the multi-echelon impact of supply disruptions and recommends prioritized actions to resolve and balance all relevant trade-offs.
Contributes to less complex components of projects, programs, or processes for the end-to-end planning area.
Supports the optimization of the E2E value stream within the current SC infrastructure.
Participates in IBP Process to provide transparency of risks and opportunities and to drive E2E decisions (includes Integrated Reconciliation and Supply Review meetings).
Supports implementation of best practices in E2E planning.
Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
Demonstrates an operating knowledge of customer service KPIs (i.e., On-Time-In Full (OTiF), Inventory Days (DOS), Safety Stock Definition) and the ability track performance against those using local planning tools (e.g., OMP / SAP / JDE).
Proactively identifies and assess the impact of issues both within and across all the nodes of the Value stream both internal and external and generation options and proposals to resolve the issue (i.e. STEM events).
Partners with Global Marketing and Supply teams on fair share allocation of product against outstanding customer orders during periods of short supply in accordance to backorder management best practices.
Collaborates with Marketing and New Product Development teams to define launch and cannibalization / rationalization strategy and manages product life cycle implications to demand and inventory.
Ability to assess different demands streams over different time horizons to include appropriate short-, medium- and long-term demand planning strategy.
Demonstrates an operating knowledge of forecasting KPIs (i.e., MAPE, BIAS, FVA) and the ability track performance against those using local planning tools (e.g., DP)
Leverages an understanding of the forecasting process and the impact of a demand plan change to the End-to-End Supply Chain.
Applies knowledge of demand planning tools, statistical modeling, relevant algorithms, and good modeling practices to develop forecast models that leverage historical data and apply sound statistical principles.
Ability to lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives / projects.
