About The Position

This is a night shift position (7pm to 7am, C crew) for a Machine Operator responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical End Line equipment. The role ensures machine production and quality meet specification sheets, involves basic repairs, and requires the ability to read and understand production information.

Requirements

Good Mechanical aptitude is a must.
Basic knowledge of US measurement.
Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to organize own work.
Basic knowledge of computers.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environment protection regulations.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per safety guidelines.
Mobility to cover expansive manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a Manufacturing facility is a plus.
Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure overall production of machines and quality according to specification sheets.
Perform basic repairs on the equipment.
Read and understand the information contained on the PO sheet.
Check accuracy and quality of finished ends.
Locate and clear basic jams that may occur on the machines during production.
Correctly read and interpret messages/statuses on the control panels.
Assist with regular servicing and solving of problems regarding machinery.
Actively support the maintenance team during line changeover.
Train or assist other employees on daily production-related duties, including product changes, housekeeping, and visual quality checks.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of the shell press, liners, and conversion press.
Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, rules, procedures, and policies.
Comply with all environmental requirements as stipulated in ISO 14001 and BRC procedures and guidelines on Health & Safety.
Perform any reasonable duties assigned by management staff, corresponding with the role.
