About The Position

As an Encryption Key Manager, you will focus on delivering cryptographic key related services and work jointly with Key Custodians, Business and Technology Support personnel to facilitate the secure handling of specially controlled data required for the issuance of consumer payment instruments and protection of payment data and processing systems.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working in an audit, compliance, risk management, product management and/or financial client service support role
  • 3+ years of experience managing symmetric and/or asymmetric cryptographic keys and/or cryptographic hardware security modules
  • 3+ years of experience developing, documenting and/or improving operational processes and detailed workflows
  • 3+ years of experience with cryptography related standards and payment network compliance requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

  • Experience applying a quality management or process improvement framework, or an information security / operational risk management framework
  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience to quickly learn new technologies and processes, train others, think critically, and contribute ideas
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule and periodically assist with off-hours/overnight support activities
  • Prior financial industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Consult with a wide variety of business and technical support teams to determine cryptographic key support needs and manage competing priorities
  • Coordinate and facilitate the execution of day-to-day services and monitor work queues against operating SLAs
  • Ensure the completeness, integrity and availability of operational records for service delivery tasks
  • Maintain operating standards and procedures governing the management and security of cryptographic keys, and proactively assess optimization opportunities to improve the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of services performed
  • Develop and deliver operational role-based training for resources performing day-to-day services
  • Participate in the evaluation of cryptographic devices and related technologies, and adapt operating procedures to utilize cryptographic equipment and capabilities within day-to-day services
  • Assist with evaluating, communicating and remediating errors, issues and risks
  • Work collaboratively with team members and promote a positive work environment
