About The Position

The Encounter Data Analyst will support CVS Health’s growing Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (DSNP) business. The role is intended for someone with claims experience and familiarity with the 837 standard claims format. The analyst owns 837 file transmissions to states, manages and acts on state response files, and ensures transmitted transactions are complete and error-free. The position also manages and completes error corrections to meet state requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with encounter data, medical claims, or Medicare/Medicaid.
• At least 1 year of experience using FTP and data transfer software.
• At least 1 year of data management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Access databases.
• Analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
• Working knowledge of 837 claims files.
