About The Position

This role is responsible for operating encapsulation machines and ensuring accurate and timely recording of materials, process parameters, and product produced. The operator will be accountable for the quality of the product made and will continuously look for opportunities to improve current processes. This position also involves other duties as assigned to lead weighing operations.

Requirements

  • Able to comprehend and act on detailed written work instructions.
  • Must follow all SOPs and cGMP requirements.
  • Ability to follow all forms of instructions and directions, particularly work orders, safety, and company policies.
  • Must be able to understand gram and kilo scales.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Must be able to work in a humid room.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
  • Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly, 50 pounds frequently and 75+ pounds with assistance, on a daily basis.
  • Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, stoop, climb, or perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents, and other internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all forms of instructions and directions, particularly work orders, safety, and company policies.
  • Accurately and timely record materials received, process parameters, product produced, scrap, and excess on specified documents.
  • Properly use, care for, and document equipment and materials issued to the work area.
  • Follow established policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Be accountable for the quality of the product made.
  • Verify that proper documentation is completed accurately, timely, and properly filed.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve current processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and needed to lead weighing operations.
