About The Position

The EMT supports nursing personnel in providing patient care and helps maintain a safe, quiet, clean, and organized environment for healthcare delivery in the Emergency Department. The role assists with patient care and transports patients, specimens, and supplies. It also includes keeping patient rooms clean and stocking the department.

Requirements

EMT-Basic or EMT-Paramedic certification.
Healthcare provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
IV certification.
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification.
High school diploma or GED.
Successful completion of an EMS course.
Basic knowledge of computer systems.
Good interpersonal skills.
Strong critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

One year of hospital experience is preferred.
