About The Position
Baptist Ambulance is seeking Basic and Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians in the Union City, Tennessee area. Baptist Ambulance is the preferred ambulance service provider for patients at Baptist Memorial Health Care-affiliated facilities and is part of the Priority Ambulance family of companies. The EMT functions on ALS and BLS ambulances as directed, safely operates the vehicle to and from pickup and drop-off locations, provides basic life support patient care and movement, and documents transports completely in accordance with company standard operating procedures. The EMT also adheres to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- State of Tennessee driver’s license.
- State of Tennessee or National Registry EMT certification.
- AHA Basic Life Support certification.
- CPR certification.
- Physically able to perform the job duties.
Responsibilities
- Function as an EMT on ALS and BLS ambulances as directed.
- Safely operate the vehicle to and from pickup and drop-off locations.
- Provide BLS patient care and movement.
- Document all transports completely according to company SOP.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
