About The Position

EMS Unlimited is a paramedic-owned, veteran-operated EMS team founded in 2012. We provide ALS, BLS, and Critical Care Transport services across multiple states, operate on federal contracts, and respond across the nation to wildland fire incidents. Our vision is to provide healthcare professionals with a rewarding and diverse workplace and opportunities not otherwise available, all in the name of superior patient care. We are seeking team-focused, dedicated healthcare professionals to serve at our Omaha and Aurora stations in EMT, Paramedic or CCT capacity.

Requirements

Current Nebraska EMT or Paramedic license (or eligible)
Current CPR certification
Age 21+
Valid, clean driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience
High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, DOT physical, and physical ability exam
A good attitude, clinical pride, and a real liking for your partner

Nice To Haves

Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) or Flight Paramedic (FP-C) credentials

Responsibilities

Provide ALS, BLS, and Critical Care Transport services.
Respond to wildland fire incidents.
Work at Omaha (Station 137) for ALS, BLS, and Critical Care interfacility transport and special event standby.
Work at Aurora (237) for 911 Responses within Hamilton County and ALS/BLS/CCT IFT.
Participate in community paramedicine, federal contracts, and wildland medicine.
Deploy on USDA Forest Service fire assignments across the West.
Work shifts in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, or Arizona.
