EMTs & Paramedics: Omaha and/or Aurora | Full-Time & Part-Time
About The Position
EMS Unlimited is a paramedic-owned, veteran-operated EMS team founded in 2012. We provide ALS, BLS, and Critical Care Transport services across multiple states, operate on federal contracts, and respond across the nation to wildland fire incidents. We are seeking team-focused, dedicated healthcare professionals to serve at our Omaha and Aurora stations in EMT, Paramedic or CCT capacity. We offer various shift lengths including 12, 24, 36, or 48 hours. EMS Unlimited is building something significant in Nebraska, offering opportunities in interfacility transport, 911 responses, community paramedicine, federal contracts, and wildland medicine. Growth means opportunity, with chances to deploy on wildland fire assignments and work shifts in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, or Arizona.
Requirements
- Current Nebraska EMT or Paramedic license (or eligible)
- Current CPR certification
- Age 21+
- Valid, clean driver's license
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to pass a physical ability exam
- A good attitude, clinical pride, and a real liking for your partner
Nice To Haves
- Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) credentials
- Flight Paramedic (FP-C) credentials
Responsibilities
- Provide ALS, BLS, and Critical Care Transport services.
- Respond to wildland fire incidents.
- Serve at Omaha and Aurora stations in EMT, Paramedic or CCT capacity.
- Perform interfacility transport and special event standby in Omaha.
- Respond to 911 calls and perform ALS/BLS/CCT IFT in Aurora.
- Participate in community paramedicine, federal contracts, and wildland medicine.
- Deploy on USDA Forest Service fire assignments across the West.
- Work shifts in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, or Arizona.
