About The Position
Accountable for delivery of patient care in the pre-hospital setting and restocking and cleanliness of the ambulances. Also any duties as assigned by EMS Coordinator. Focus is on the delivery of emergency medical care to scope of practice level and Medical Director approved protocols.
Requirements
- EMT Certification Licensure and Certification
- Attended a certified EMT course and pass the National Registry EMT CAT testing exam and practical exam
- No DUI or felony convictions
- Required – BLS, NREMT (for EMT)
- Current ND NREMT - Paramedic Licensure (for Paramedic)
- No DUI or felony convictions (for Paramedic)
- Required – BLS, ACLS, NREMT (for Paramedic)
- Must be able to go “En Route” with ambulance within 10 minutes from time of page out
- If live more than 10 minutes from ambulance garage, staff are required to stay in ambulance housing provided by WRHS
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience preferred (for Paramedic)
