About The Position
Mobile Medical Corporation (MMC) is seeking a part-time EMT for a nationally recognized construction project in Columbus, OH. This role offers the opportunity to utilize medical skills in a proactive, clinic-based setting without the typical emergency response environment. The position involves providing on-site occupational health support, focusing on injury prevention, incident triage, and maintaining worker safety. It is a day-shift, clinic-based role.
Requirements
- Ohio EMT License
- ACLS Certification
- 2+ years EMT experience (occupational/industrial preferred)
- Strong communication, documentation, and multitasking skills
- Ability to meet physical demands of an active job site
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- OSHA-10 within 90 days (company provided)
Responsibilities
- Triage, treat, and provide follow-up care for injuries and illnesses using evidence-based protocols.
- Document patient encounters in the EMR system (Cority).
- Maintain clinic readiness and communicate with MMC leadership.
- Lead Stretch & Flex programs.
- Conduct site walks to identify potential health risks.
- Support wellness initiatives.
- Perform drug screens, orientations, and occupational health testing.
- Build trust and rapport with employees, safety teams, and site leadership.
