About The Position
Metro Paramedic Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc., contracts with local municipalities to provide emergency medical services, rescue, and/or fire services. The company is seeking a full-time EMT/Firefighter for its Minooka contract. The EMT/Firefighter provides medical care and patient transportation at the EMT-B level, within the scope of practice stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.
Requirements
- EMT license.
- Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter certification.
- One year of experience.
- CPR certification.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Illinois driver's license.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients at the EMT-B level, within the applicable scope of practice.
- Transport patients.
