About The Position

The RN EMS Coordinator provides clinical oversight, administrative management, quality assurance, and educational leadership for the Silver Cross EMS System (IDPH Region 7 Resource Hospital). This role serves as the central operational liaison between the hospital and EMS partner agencies, and leads the operational workflow, clinical quality, and growth of the health system's Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) / Community Paramedicine programs. The coordinator ensures full system compliance with Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Emergency Medical Services regulations (77 Ill. Adm. Code 515) and advances pre-hospital clinical excellence throughout the region.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited college or university required.
Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department or Critical Care setting required.
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois required.
Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications are required.
TNCC, ECRN required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or Master’s Degree (MS) from an accredited college or university preferred.
Clinical experience in pre-hospital setting preferred.
Active Paramedic license in the state of Illinois preferred.
Lead Instructor (LI) preferred.
