About The Position
The Charlton Fire Department is seeking a full-time EMS Officer to lead and manage the department's Emergency Medical Services operations. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality prehospital care, maintaining regulatory compliance at the local, state, and federal levels, and providing strong leadership and training for EMS personnel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certification in CPR, ACLS, PALS, and CPR, ACLS and PALS instructor (or obtained within 1 year)
- Possess and maintain a Massachusetts Driver's License
- Certified Paramedic by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, OEMS
- 7 years of Paramedic Experience
- Successful completion of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Career Recruit Training Program or equivalent with Pro Board Firefighter I/II certification.
