FirstHealth of the Carolinas seeks a full-time EMS Fleet Supervisor to drive excellence in our Fleet Maintenance department. We need a decisive, hands-on leader to manage shop operations, implement efficient workflows, and hold technician teams to the highest standards of safety and accountability. This position requires proven experience in strategic team leadership, advanced emergency vehicle diagnostics, and a valid NC driver’s license to maintain peak fleet readiness. FHC Workplace Advantages: Meaningful Impact: Mechanics perform vital maintenance that directly supports life-saving patient care with emergency medical transports as well as daily operations of a multi-hospital healthcare system. Safety-First Culture: FHC prioritizes a rewarding, high-standard safety environment over high-pressure commercial garage production metrics. Diverse Fleet Variety: Team members work on a broad range of municipal and emergency vehicles, preventing the burnout associated with repetitive assembly-line work. Cutting-Edge Technology: The role offers valuable exposure to advanced systems, including alternative fuels, electric motors, and complex electronics. Elite Team Environment: Mechanics collaborate with a highly skilled, dedicated team within a leading regional healthcare network. Additionally, we agree that including our fleet size adds valuable context to the job postings. For the summary, we currently manage 59 ambulances and 110 supporting vehicles.
