About The Position

Baptist Health is looking for an EMS Dispatcher to join their team in Louisville, KY. The position is responsible for communications with Baptist Health EMS Ambulance Service crews for patients requiring transportation services to and/or from a Baptist Healthcare facility. The role maintains overall accuracy and expediency of collating documentation and must maintain current knowledge of EPIC software along with specialized products related to EMS patient care reporting. This position is responsible for the integrity of data regarding the System Service Center EMS Dispatch Center. They must practice outstanding skill at protecting PHI and have exemplary communication and prioritization skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year prior dispatch/communication experience required.
• Working knowledge and use of MS Office products.
• Must obtain Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (CADS) within 1 year from hire date.

Nice To Haves

• EMT education preferred.
