About The Position
Forrest City Medical Center is seeking a strategic and experienced EMS Director to lead its Emergency Medical Services operations. The EMS Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the emergency response system, ensuring high standards of patient care, operational efficiency, and fiscal responsibility. Forrest City Medical Center is a 118-bed Acute Care facility located 40 minutes west of Memphis, TN and less than 90 miles from Little Rock, AR.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Valid state EMS license and/or paramedic certification.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; knowledge of EMS protocols, regulations, and best practices.
Nice To Haves
- Management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Directs the staff and programs of the emergency services unit.
- Develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for emergency service programs.
- Ensures quality care for patients.
