About The Position
Rice EMS is seeking temporary staff to assist in EMS education, specifically as clinical instructors for EMT and Advanced EMT courses. This role involves serving as preceptors and skills instructors for students during clinical rotations and on-campus sessions. Additionally, there are opportunities for staffing special events on campus.
Requirements
- EMT Certified
- 3 years of 911 EMS experience
Nice To Haves
- 5 years of 911 EMS experience
- AEMT Certification
- Paramedic Certification
Responsibilities
- Precepting EMS students during clinical rotations in Houston area hospitals.
- Serving as a clinical instructor for skills instruction on campus.
- Demonstrating appropriate patient assessment in the ER setting.
- Teaching hands-on skills such as physical exam, vitals, and interventions.
- Teaching EMS documentation.
- Staffing large-scale campus events as an EMS Provider.
