This part-time position is for an experienced industry professional who will work in the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) programs. The instructor may also be asked to teach BLS, CPR, and First Aid. A current Utah EMS Instructor/Coordinator certification is required for this position. The role focuses on creating a positive, engaging, and hands-on learning environment in both classroom and lab settings, where students can connect lessons to real-world EMS skills. Each day should provide students with meaningful, relevant experiences that prepare them for success in the field. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and delivering clear, effective instruction in building the knowledge, skills, and professionalism required to enter the EMS industry. The instructor will inspire and encourage students, helping them grow from learners into confident, capable future EMS professionals.
