Adjunct Instructor of EMS
About The Position

Requirements
- Current NM EMS license (EMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic)/professional healthcare credential(s).
- Knowledge of instructional method(s).
- Teaching experience to deliver content, skills instructions, and remediation.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume.
- Unofficial Transcripts with qualifying degree conferred.
- Satisfactory background check.
Nice To Haves
- Associate Degree, or work-related experience in emergency medicine/pre-hospital care.
Responsibilities
- Effective teaching of college-level EMS courses.
- Developing and revising instructional materials.
- Presenting material in an organized manner.
- Evaluating student learning.
- Maintaining student records.
- Teaching day, evening, weekend, and on-line classes, as assigned.
- Teaching at the main and/or satellite campuses, as assigned.
- Maintaining a minimum of 1 office hour per week per assigned course.
- Participating in Adjunct Professional Development activities.
- Demonstrating and promoting the school values of: Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
