Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Recent experience working in a public accounting firm or in a multi-state payroll tax environment
- 4-5 years' experience years of payroll tax consulting and/or compliance experience in the employment tax space
- Experience in federal, state and local employment tax matters including compliance and issue resolution
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Computer expertise including knowledge of technology
Nice To Haves
- CPA/EA preferred, but not required
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) accreditation preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement intelligent strategies that can assist our clients with their federal, state and local employment tax issues, as well as help them identify cost savings opportunities.
- Delivery of employment tax services for multiple clients in a variety of industries.
- Interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services
- Working closely with partners on delivering innovative tax planning strategies.
