The Employment Support Professional III is primarily responsible for supporting people to achieve their personal dreams and goals through obtaining and maintaining competitive employment within their community. This role involves helping individuals identify long-term employment goals, strengths, and personal factors relevant to their vocational aspirations. The position also requires assisting individuals with understanding benefit implications of earned income and making informed decisions about disclosing their mental health status to employers. The role emphasizes developing holistic interventions and coordinating services to support individuals with diverse needs, including those who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing, have Limited English Proficiency, or are blind and visually impaired. A significant portion of the role involves community-based work, including job development, task analysis, and providing direct support to individuals in their employment roles, as well as educating and supporting employers. The position also requires meeting placement and billing goals, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
