About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, physical health, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing substance use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models. An Employment Specialist is an individual who has one year of experience providing rehabilitation services and employment-related support. Employment Specialist provides work related services, including vocational evaluation and assessment, job readiness training, skills building, and job placement referrals. This position assists in addressing all of the employment concerns and needs of the patient in conjunction with the established treatment team.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in either the behavioral health or medical field required.
Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing)
Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
Fingerprint Clearance Card

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in behavioral health or medical field preferred.
Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
Peer Certification (if applicable)
