About The Position
This Job Coach position supports people working in the community in competitive employment. They assist the person to maintain a job through on-site visits and other workplace supports. The Job Coach learns the job duties of the person they are supporting and then they assist them to build proficiency over time.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours is required.
- A valid NYS driver's license that meets Agency standards is required.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Human Service experience preferred.
- Experience in grounds maintenance, housekeeping, and/or Janitorial work preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support people working in the community in competitive employment.
- Assist individuals to maintain their jobs through on-site visits and other workplace supports.
- Learn the job duties of the person being supported.
- Assist individuals to build job proficiency over time.
