Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business or related course of study and one year of related experience
• Associates degree program in Human Services, Business or related course of study and two years of related experience
• High School diploma with three years of related experience
• Driver’s license is required
• Working vehicle and willingness to drive personal vehicle

Nice To Haves

• Vocational experience or prior work with people with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Career search, building pre-employment skills, and helping to maintain successful continued employment.
• Coach individuals through career exploration, focusing on employment goals & passions
• Empower individuals with hard and soft skill-building through hands-on curriculums
• Enhance socialization and community involvement for individuals through active volunteerism
• Increase independence by aiding in application, resume, and interview preparations
• Facilitate supportive employment by helping individuals locate and maintain positions
• Ensure continued success with on-site job coaching
• Support individuals at various locations and places of employment throughout the Mohawk Valley.
