About The Position

RecruitGo is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Employment Screening Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting employment reference checks, verifying educational credentials, performing database screenings, and ensuring accurate documentation of all background check results. You’ll work closely with clients and institutions to ensure timely and professional communication while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and data accuracy. This position is ideal for someone with a solid HR background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to thoroughness and integrity in handling sensitive information.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, email).
  • Capable of managing data processing tasks efficiently.
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in employment screening or background verification is a strong advantage.
  • Preferably candidates who can read and write Chinese (Mandarin) to support language-specific verifications and communication.
  • Professional demeanor and integrity in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct employment reference checks via phone and email.
  • Perform database screenings and searches for verification and background purposes.
  • Verify educational credentials by contacting institutions through phone and email.
  • Accurately input, manage, and maintain data collected during background checks.
  • Organize, compile, and generate clear and concise reports for clients and candidates.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and requests.
  • Execute additional background verification tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Work with the internal team to ensure timely delivery of services to clients and ensure that client expectations are met.
