About The Position

Ruth & Naomi's Mission is seeking an Employment Program Manager to lead and oversee our growing Employment Program. This role provides leadership and oversight to employment-focused initiatives that support individuals experiencing barriers to employment through work readiness training, workplace placements, mentorship, and skill development opportunities across the organization. The Employment Program Manager will oversee a team including the Employment Program Coordinator, Coaches, and Facilitators while working collaboratively with program managers across departments to create meaningful employment pathways for participants.

Requirements

  • Experience in program management, workforce development, employment programming, or social services
  • Experience supervising and developing staff teams
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing barriers to employment
  • Personal relationship with Jesus and willingness to sign and uphold our statement of faith

  • Experience in nonprofit or community-based environments is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Employment Program
  • Supervise and support the Employment Program Coordinator, Coaches, and Facilitators
  • Develop and implement employment readiness programming and initiatives
  • Collaborate with program managers to create participant placement opportunities across the organization
  • Support participant success through employment-focused training and skill development
  • Monitor program outcomes and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements, reporting obligations, and program deliverables
  • Support development of systems, processes, and program standards
