About The Position
An outstanding, full-time opening has become available at a highly reputable law firm in the Los Angeles, CA area for an Employment Paralegal with experience in Personal Injury civil cases. This position would earn a generous base salary and excellent benefits including employer paid medical benefits (in addition to dental, vision, life, and pet insurance), 401k, PTO, and other great perks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Labor or Employment Law and General Litigation practice experience with heavy emphasis on Trial Preparation and Discovery Experience Under Attorney supervision
- Knowledge of EEOC and DFEH claims process and CA Code of Civil Procedure (CCP) is a MUST
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies (or related degree) and/or Paralegal Certification is a PLUS
Responsibilities
- Drafting, Editing, Filing, Cite-checking, assisting in all stages of trial law preparing legal documents including: Case documents, exhibits for basic pleadings, subpoenas, discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trials and other proceedings is a MUST
- Ability to provide excellent support to attorneys and trial teams including managing trial logistics, exhibits, trial calendars and binders, etc. is a MUST
- Effectively communicating and coordinating with Witnesses, Clients, Attorneys and Defense Counsel is a MUST
