About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is seeking passionate and motivated Employment Attorneys to join their growing team. This role involves representing employees in various workplace disputes, including cases of wrongful termination, harassment, and unfair treatment. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal knowledge, empathy, strategic thinking, and excellent client advocacy skills. The firm is open to attorneys with experience in employment law, broader litigation backgrounds, or those looking to transition to plaintiff-side employment law. The firm is expanding across multiple states including Massachusetts, California, Washington D.C., New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Michigan, with specific interest in candidates based in Boston, Los Angeles/Orange County/San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, and Detroit.

Requirements

  • Law degree (J.D. / Juris Doctor) from a fully ABA accredited law school
  • An active member in good standing of the bar of the state in which based/to which applying
  • Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit and litigation cases
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with wage and hour claims is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day handling of cases from pre-litigation to litigation
  • Depending on experience, ranges from handling pre-suit responsibilities to performing senior attorney duties once the claim files suit
  • Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
  • Guide clients through the case process
  • Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
  • Attendance and preparation at depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
