About The Position

As an Employment Specialist/Case Manager, you will work with Medicaid clients aged 16 and older who experience substance use disorders or behavioral or mental health diagnoses that hinder their ability to find employment. You will assess each client's strengths and interests and work with them toward the goal of finding employment. This includes helping clients build resumes, develop interview skills, and strengthen employment-related skills such as relationship development and managing anxiety, depression, and anger so they can maintain their positions successfully. The role acts as an advocate, case manager, and skills coach.

Requirements

• One of the following qualification pathways: a high school diploma or GED and two years of relevant experience; a bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Services, or a related field; CESP certification issued by ESPCC and one year of relevant or demonstrated experience; or CRC certification issued by CRCC and one year of relevant or demonstrated experience.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' strengths and interests to support their employment goals.
• Assist clients with resume building and interview skills.
• Coach clients in employment skills, including relationship development and managing anxiety, depression, anger, and other challenges to maintain employment.
• Act as an advocate and case manager for clients.
