About The Position

The Paralegal, Employment and Litigation provides organizational and practice-specific support to one or more attorneys, with an anticipated primary focus on employment law and litigation matters. This role requires professionalism, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, extensive litigation experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized and efficient manner. Responsibilities include assisting with EEOC and state agency matters, conducting legal research, preparing correspondence, drafting legal documents, maintaining corporate records and case files, managing responses and document productions to subpoenas and third-party requests, providing litigation support, coordinating discovery, calendaring deadlines, tracking signatures on documents, and supporting other assigned legal department needs. This is a full-time position. Physical presence at the corporate office is preferred; however, remote work may be considered for the right candidate, with periodic travel to the corporate office in Plano, Texas, as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, paralegal certification a plus.
  • Four plus (4+) years of litigation or employment paralegal experience, in-house legal department experience is preferred.
  • Type at least 70 words per minute.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Advanced analytical skills required; experience with Adobe Profession preferred
  • Minimal travel/overnight travel may be required periodically.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys on employment law, litigation, and corporate legal matters.
  • Maintain corporate records, governance documents, and legal files.
  • Manage legal holds, records preservation, and eDiscovery processes.
  • Coordinate subpoenas, document requests, and deposition support.
  • Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and demand letters.
  • Assist with EEOC and agency responses, investigations, and deadlines.
  • Support litigation activities, including document production and witness coordination.
  • Lead legal process improvements, policies, templates, and playbooks.
  • Build strong relationships and provide responsive service across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and attendance requirements.
