In this exciting role, you’ll forge and grow strategic partnerships that result in job postings, packed campus events, and innovative initiatives. You'll be the driving force behind employer engagement, industry collaboration, and student success—making a real impact where it matters most. The Manager Employer Accounts develops and maintains robust connections with employers in the Skilled Trades, Transportation and Energy sectors to drive engagement and create job opportunities. Key responsibilities include securing job postings, encouraging attendance at on-campus industry events (Career Fairs, Hiring Events, Program Advisory Committee Meetings), and promoting partnership initiatives like Talent Recruitment and Internship Programs (TRIP) and Early Employment opportunities. This is a remote position, however, it will require the candidate to currently live in the Atlanta, GA area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 3-5 years of experience in account and relationship management is highly preferred
  • Experience in Business Development is preferred
  • Expertise in Aviation, Energy and Skilled Trades Industries is highly preferred
  • Broad knowledge of Career Placement is preferred
  • Adaptability: Support multiple programs, manage multiple account and employer relationships
  • Drives results: strong commitment to accountability, identify trends and track key metrics
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and Presentation skills
  • Interpersonal skills: builds effective relationships, works independently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, customer service attitude, self-motivated, organized

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with employers through events such as trade shows, dealer meetings, and other networking opportunities
  • Build partnerships through regular communication, feedback, and follow-up, ensuring employer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Communicate the advantages of hiring graduates, emphasizing curriculum strengths, hands-on training, and graduate readiness
  • Encourage employers and OEMs to participate in on-campus recruitment activities, including job fairs, interview days, and Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings
  • Maintain close connections with key employers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) by understanding their hiring needs and aligning qualified graduates to meet those needs
  • Monitor and document outcomes and progress for MSAT elective programs, ensuring alignment with employment goals.
  • Improve efficiency and success in job matching, ensuring a streamlined process for connecting students with job opportunities by using new technology
