About The Position

Atrium Health, a leading community-focused academic health care system, is seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join their LiveWELL Pearl team in Charlotte, NC. This role is part of Advocate Health's Work & Campus Care network, providing primary care and acute outpatient services to Advocate Health employees and their families. The clinic also offers occupational medicine services like Worker’s Comp and DOT physicals. The position involves seeing patients aged 6 months and up, with longer appointment times to ensure a high-quality patient experience. The practice also serves students and faculty from Wake Forest School of Medicine and Carolinas College of Health Science. Typical patient volume is 12-14 per day. There is an on-call responsibility approximately every 12 weeks, with nurse triage as the first point of contact, and no hospital work is involved.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Family Medicine or Urgent Care.
NC Licensure and DEA.
American Heart Association BLS.
Ability to work autonomously.

Nice To Haves

Occupational Medicine experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide primary care and acute outpatient services to Advocate Health employees and their covered family members.
Perform Worker’s Comp cases and limited occupational medicine exams (DOT physicals).
See patients for traditional acute episodic care and basic primary care.
Manage patient volume of typically 12-14 patients per day.
Participate in on-call responsibilities approximately every 12 weeks, with nurse triage handling initial contact.
