About The Position

This is an entry-level seasonal position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TX. As an Employee Relations & Team Services Specialist, you will serve as a key support resource for Team Members throughout the park, helping create a positive, respectful, and engaging workplace experience. In this entry-level Human Resources role, you will be the first point of contact for Team Member questions and concerns, provide guidance on policies and workplace expectations, support employee relations initiatives, and assist with day-to-day Human Resources operations. You will help foster a culture built on communication, fairness, teamwork, and recognition while ensuring Team Members feel supported from clock-in to clock-out. This is an opportunity to build relationships, develop HR skills, and make a positive impact on the Team Member experience across the park.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to work up to 30+ hours per week
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Passion for helping others and creating a positive workplace experience.
Willingness to learn Human Resources procedures, systems, and employment practices.

Responsibilities

Serve as a first point of contact for Team Member questions, concerns, and workplace issues.
Provide professional and friendly assistance in person, by phone, and through park communication channels.
Utilize HR systems such as ARS, Dayforce, UKG, and other platforms to manage Team Member information accurately.
Assist in documenting employee relations matters and maintaining confidential records.
Support investigations by gathering information, scheduling meetings, and coordinating documentation as needed.
Provide guidance regarding company policies, attendance standards, workplace expectations, and procedures.
Support employee engagement initiatives, including the Team Six Reward Program and other recognition efforts.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture through consistent communication and support.
Partner with department leadership to address Team Member concerns and encourage engagement.
Maintain electronic personnel files and ensure records are organized and up to date.
Assist with administrative tasks related to Employee Relations, Employment, Recruiting, Wardrobe, and other Human Resources functions.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Support and uphold Grooming, Guest First, and Safety Standards.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Team Service Office environment.
Assist with operating the Team Member shuttle and maintaining the shuttle cart in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
Perform other duties as assigned to support park operations.
