About The Position

Environmental Air Systems is one of the leading industrial HVAC engineering, manufacturing, and construction companies in the southeastern United States. The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining positive relationships between EAS and its employees.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to travel within sites when needed.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.
• Addresses routine labor relations inquiries related to policies, procedures, and concerns. Refers complex matters to appropriate management staff or Human Resources.
• Spreads awareness of upcoming events, learning opportunities and other company and employment requirements such as open enrollment.
• Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to EEO, affirmative action, and human resources.
• Spends the majority of the workday in front of employees.
