Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced bilingual Employee Relations Specialist to join our Shared Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional-quality Subject Matter Expert advice and execution on complex Employee Relations matters, managing multiple high-level cases from initiation to comprehensive resolution. You will join a collaborative, fast-paced regional team dedicated to supporting people managers, mitigating risk, and fostering a fair, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources with demonstrated expertise in Employee Relations.
  • Strong knowledge of labor standards, workplace investigation techniques, and risk management strategies.
  • Fluency in both English and French (Bi-lingual capability is required).
  • Exceptional conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build partnerships in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • High degree of comfort with change and the resilience to make sound, courageous decisions in high-pressure situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within a regional shared services organization is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Tier 3 Employee Relations cases—including disciplinary actions, policy breaches, progressive performance management, ethics hotline investigations, and terminations—partnering with internal and external legal advisors to drive consistent resolution.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and coaching to people managers on day-to-day employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance standards.
  • Offer critical Employee Relations and Labor Relations execution advice for organizational changes, acquisitions, and business restructures while proactively assessing and mitigating operational risks.
  • Continually review documented HR processes to ensure consistency across the team, while leveraging case data to deliver reporting, root-cause analysis, and actionable insights to key stakeholders.
