The Employee Relations Specialist focuses on maintaining positive relationships between employees and the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel. Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or similar role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Employee Relations, Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Two years of Human Resources experience preferred
  • Must be able to obtain a Coeur d’Alene Tribal Gaming license
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must be adept at managing conflict and influencing outcomes.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills required.
  • Must be able to follow both general and detailed directions precisely.
  • Must have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to promote positive customer service.
  • Professional conduct including good attendance record and ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality a must.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive work relationships with all team members, supervisory and management personnel to insure effective cross-departmental communications and to present a strong team environment and united workplace.
  • Assist with the planning, development, and implementation of trainings as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all personnel files, records, etc.
