About The Position

As an Employee Relations Specialist in Logistics, you will promote a fair, respectful, and inclusive workplace across Distribution Centres by managing employee relations, supporting engagement, and ensuring compliance with policies and company values. You will support the full employee lifecycle by contributing to and coordinating key people processes, ensuring a consistent and positive experience aligned with company goals. You will partner with the DC Management team to provide guidance on people matters and organizational development. You will drive employee engagement and foster a culture of inclusion and diversity through everyday HR processes and initiatives. You will support managers in building a safe, inclusive, and motivating work environment where team members feel seen, heard, and valued. You will partner with managers to address workplace concerns early and encourage constructive dialogue and timely resolution. You will support local change management activities and support the rollout of global and regional HR initiatives. You will manage conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary procedures to ensure fair and timely execution. You will support or lead union negotiations to foster positive labour relations. You will participate in mediations and legal proceedings as required to support resolution. You will collaborate with Local, Regional, and Global HR teams to ensure an aligned and effective HR approach. You will maintain and report on HR metrics such as recruitment, turnover, and training completion to support data-driven decisions. You will ensure compliance with local labour laws, internal policies, and union agreements through accurate documentation and up-to-date knowledge. You will coach and advise leaders on policies, labour laws, and employee concerns. You will ensure effective execution of employee relations processes to promote compliance and efficiency. You will maintain employee relations documentation in line with GDPR requirements. You will promote a healthy workplace culture in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge and understanding of local labour law and regulations with a solid understanding on how these are to be implemented and used in the local workplace.
  • Profound knowledge in local logistics employee relations.
  • Expertise in conflict resolution, disciplinary concepts processes and procedures and workplace investigations.
  • Understanding of employee contracts, salary bandings, compensation and benefits for employees.
  • Strong in communicating and adapting method based on circumstance using empathy and sensitivity when needed.
  • Solid knowledge in all processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Solid functional understanding of DC operations and role requirements across functions considering interdependencies.
  • Strong in coordination, prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Solid knowledge of all SuccessFactors functions.
  • Strong understanding and driver of the People Strategy.
