About The Position

The Employee Relations Partner will support programs to promote employee engagement, morale, and a positive workplace culture. This role involves providing confidential counseling and support to employees on work-related issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, harassment, and discrimination. The partner will collaborate with managers and HR to develop and implement corrective action plans, mediate conflicts, and investigate allegations of misconduct. Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of employee relations issues and investigations is crucial. The role also requires staying knowledgeable about employment laws and company policies, conducting training sessions, and identifying areas for policy improvement. Effective communication and collaboration with employees, managers, and stakeholders are essential, as is building strong relationships and acting as a liaison to facilitate open communication and conflict resolution. The position may also involve preparing reports on employee relations metrics and staying current on industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products, top tier HR systems and case management tools
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

  • Support programs to promote employee engagement, morale and a positive workplace culture
  • Provide confidential counseling and support to employees on work-related issues including performance management, conflict resolution, harassment and discrimination.
  • Collaborate with managers and HR partners to develop, document and follow up on corrective action plans to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
  • Mediate and facilitate resolution of conflicts between teammates and managers.
  • Investigate allegations of discrimination, harassment, workplace misconduct and performance deficiencies
  • Conduct confidential interviews with employees and managers to gather information and understand concerns.
  • Escalate teammate relations events and concerns in accordance with company policy and guidance.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and confidential documentation of employee relations issues and investigations using Company approved processes, tools and templates.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Support the development and communication of HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR topics, such as harassment, discrimination, and workplace safety.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in policy content to improve clarity, teammate understanding and adherence
  • Maintain effective communication with employees, managers, and other stakeholders on HR matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management, facilitating open communication and resolving conflict effectively.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Prepare reports and presentations on employee relations metrics and trends.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in employee relations.
