Requirements

  • Outstanding communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality work

  • A team-oriented approach and enthusiasm for collaboration
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree.
  • A combination of a total of four years of education and full-time experience in technical or professional human resources work, where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university course work equals one year of full-time experience.
  • Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes three years of full-time work performing technical human resources work.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service as a trusted partner for employees and leaders, listening closely, responding quickly, and bringing empathy into every conversation.
  • Conduct fair, thoughtful, thorough, consistent, and transparent investigations, ensuring professionalism and care in all steps from interviews to final recommendations.
  • Champion integrity by guiding leaders and employees through policies, codes, and laws, providing balanced, ethical advice for decisions rooted in honesty, values, and accountability.
  • Share knowledge that empowers others by teaching, coaching, and creating engaging training experiences to build stronger leaders and make complex topics understandable and applicable.
  • Create tools and resources to help leaders feel confident addressing challenges early and effectively.
