In this dynamic position, you’ll partner closely with management to guide and strengthen employee relations among our dedicated direct care team, the people making a meaningful difference every day in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. Requirements

  • Five or more years’ experience in human resources with a focus on employee relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, organizational development, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proven experience conducting workplace investigations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Knowledge of labor laws
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, workplace complaints, and policy interpretation
  • Conduct thorough, impartial investigations into employee complaints such as harassment, discrimination, and misconduct
  • Partner with the Quality Assurance department on abuse, neglect, exploitation investigations
  • Partner with HR leadership and legal counsel to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement strategies
  • Develop, implement, and maintain employee relations policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Analyze employee relations trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend proactive solutions
  • Lead training sessions for managers and employees on topics such as workplace conduct, conflict resolution, and company policies
  • Support organizational change initiatives by providing guidance on employee impact and communication strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records in accordance with company standards and legal requirements
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
