About The Position

This role serves as an Employee Relations & Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist, focusing on communicating HR policies, managing employee data, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and overseeing employee orientation and training. The position requires strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated knowledge of employee law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems is essential, with ADP and SAP experience being preferred. The role emphasizes confidentiality, multitasking, initiative, engagement, integrity, customer service, self-discipline, analytical skills, flexibility, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Employee Relations Specialist and/or EHS specialist or similar role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employee law.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as an Employee Relations Specialist or EHS Specialist.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated skills in database maintenance and record keeping.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS systems.
